In 2022, Leticia rolled up her sleeves and joined fellow Rotarians from Concord, Diablo Valley, and beyond for a tree planting project at Newhall Community Park. Surrounded by students from Rotaract and Interact, she not only contributed to the environment but also learned firsthand how to plant trees. Later that year, she celebrated the season of giving at the Rotary Club of Concord’s Christmas Party, deepening friendships with her fellow community members.

Feeding Families and Fighting Hunger (2023)

Service is a rhythm in Leticia’s life. In 2023, she once again joined the Rotary Club of Concord’s Food Bank project, sorting and bagging food for families in need. That same year, she attended the Changing of the Guard ceremony, celebrating a successful year of leadership and welcoming a new term for the club. These gatherings remind Leticia of the importance of fellowship in fueling collective impact.

In 2025, Leticia and her husband participated in a heartfelt event hosted by the Rotary Club of Concord at Joybound – People & Pets (formerly Tony La Russa’s ARF). The day highlighted the organization’s incredible mission of connecting people and pets through adoption and support services. Leticia was deeply moved by the joy and hope such programs bring.

She also returned to the Food Bank, this time bagging onions, red peppers, and green apples with her fellow volunteers. The day was filled with warm conversations, hugs, and smiles—a reminder of how even small acts of service can build lasting bonds.
