Originally from Cape Town, South Africa, Jake grew up surrounded by the city’s breathtaking architecture and natural beauty, which sparked a lifelong passion for design and building. He began his career under one of Cape Town’s top contractors, where he quickly developed the leadership and project management skills that would become the foundation of his success.
In 1990, Jake made the move to Venice, California, drawn to the vibrant artistic energy of Abbot Kinney Boulevard—then an underground hub for creatives. He spent more than two decades thriving as an Art Director and Production Designer in the television industry, all while Venice quietly evolved into one of LA’s hottest real estate markets.
With a keen eye for design and an intuitive understanding of construction and value, Jake began flipping homes—successfully transforming spaces and turning profits. What started as a passion project soon became a full-time calling. He transitioned from creative director to full-service real estate expert, designing million-dollar renovations and helping clients buy and sell homes with confidence and clarity.
